Renewal is a nightmare with my site www.neat-thinking.com
I have 4 domains hosted with Gemini, 3 websites on Linux and an e-mail only domain. Generally all is good and everything works as it should, reliability is good and feature set is nice. It does all I want and a lot more.
But...... there is one really annoying drawback. Gemini send out a reminder a little before the renewal is due. This normal. I generally try to renew about 2 weeks before to be sure all is well. Unfortunately, my main website and the one I run my own e-mail from is treated differently to the others - they cut off my site even when I have paid the renewal well in advance! It gets cut off on the renewal date - so something is screwed up at Gemini. If it happened just once, it might be forgivable - but it happens every time - they never learn, even when I complain every year!! I have not had the same problem with the other domains so can't understand what is going on. If it happens again at the next renewal, I will demand payment back and move elsewhere. I hope this helps you decide if you want to use Gemini.
